Hi! I'm Mackenzie Bauer, a full stack developer and quality assurance analyst passionate with a passion for building better software and stronger teams. With experience owning QA across multiple platforms (web, desktop, database, and API), I thrive in fast-moving environments where I can dig deep, solve problems, and bridge gaps between users and developers.
Beyond coding, I enjoy playing hockey, travelling, photography, and cozy crafts. My approach to development is rooted in clarity, responsiveness, and usability. I love blending creativity with technology to build projects that are both functional and visually appealing.

At Interface Fluidics, I was the first dedicated QA hire, building the foundation for testing and support across three software suites. I introduced test tracking and release documentation, significantly improving software qualit and adoption. I also contributed to automation with Python and Powershell, maintained and cleaned up API data, and led cross-functional efforts to turn user feedback into usable features.

As a programming instructor, I led the design and delivery of Java and PYthon lessons for remote learners, creating modules from beginner to advanced. Guided students through hands-on projects, enhancing coding skills and fostering problem-solving abilities.

At the Thorhild Swimming Pool, I managed an 8 person tesam and day to day operations, developing efficient workflows, training staff, and maintaining a safe and engaging environment while ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards.
